18+ years Pre-Press/Print Management experience, started as a typesetter at GE, surrounded by the most incredible talent, whom guided my career path. I attended Mercer County Community College, took design classes, was the creative lead at a printing company, I am a quick study and adapt well to new ideas. I have knowledge on both Mac & PC environments, including Adobe Creative Suite, Office, FusionPro. I am now responsible for day-to-day production within the pre-press and print shop. Supervise, motivate, and support the staff daily in order to meet all clients strict schedules, applying a team approach and maintaining open communication. Plan, schedule, strategize, and oversee all production activities while building sales, maintaining profitability and minimizing waste. Perform essential functions to ensure overall customer satisfaction and quality service, establish and maintain effective communication with both employees and clients. Responsible for the effective and efficient planning, scheduling of personnel and equipment to reduce bottlenecks and problems. Initiate hiring when needed to cope with expanding workload or for replacement of substandard employees, provide a positive, motivating example for all employees. Provide training for all employees for growth within the company. Setup equipment including perfect binders, folders, creaser or laminating. Schedule preventative maintenance on all equipment. I know the fast-paced industry very well and thrive in it.
