My entire graduate work has been dedicated towards developing medical grade polymers for both biostable and biodegradable applications. I have always been interested in the medical device field because I find the end goal being to improve the quality of life or even assist in preserving the life of patients very satisfying. Polymer research will always be expanding with new lines of products and device designs and I feel that it is a privilege to be able to partake in developing these new materials.
