Intake Coordinator/Utilization Review Coordinator
I have vast experience in all aspects of psychiatric nursing. I have always been involved in Staff Development and preprinting. My assessment and documentation skills are excellent. I also have a strong medical background. My recent job entailed opening a new free standing Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency 42 bed inpatient hospital. I was hired early on to develop the Intake Department and was the Intake Coordinator. I also did Utilization Review initially. As our census grew, I was Utilization Review Coordinator, which entailed case management, family sessions, discharge planning and rounding with psychiatrist. I am really looking for a position in a medical Emergency Department with psychiatric nurses or clinicians preforming psychiatric evaluations.
