Designing highly effective electroporation device (both software and hardware) to ensure that all time and intensity current flows associated with DNA delivery were recorded electronically for Advisys. Secured FDA validation and approval for use in humans and pending U.S. patent. Defining formulation and dose ranges that were clinically significant for muscle-specific plasmid expressing growth hormone. Securing and maintaining continuous NIH grand support for research program for 26 years (final year’s grant was $1.5M) for Baylor. Maintaining national accreditation for core lipid laboratory at Methodist Hospital and for NHLBI Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities study (16K subjects).
