I, David Linneman have 30+ years of Nuclear Experience as Chemistry Instructor and Senior Chemistry Technician commercial nuclear power plants; and have served in the USN as a Nuclear Engineering Laboratory Technician (Chemistry Technician) and Nuclear Mechanical Operator. As a Certified Chemistry Program Instructor, I have accumulated 10+ years of experience teaching accredited chemistry program candidates in the Classroom, Laboratory and in-plant OJT/OJE qualification. I have demonstrated proficiency in training Chemistry Technicians for Initial/Requalification programs through: Developing Chemistry Lesson Plans, Student Handouts and OJT/OJE Qualification tools; using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process; presenting Classroom, Laboratory and In-Plant OJT/OJE instruction; evaluating student performance through written, laboratory exercise and on-the-job performance exercises (OJT/OE); maintaining training records using a computer based system; assisting in training program reaccreditation; continuously evaluating new/experienced Chemistry Technicians on how to safely perform their job, use procedures, operate instruments, trouble shoot, repair instruments, and achieve accurate results using their instruments; and develop/ present presentations to various groups including training, safety/informational topics. I have trained personnel on how to use Human Performance Tools to prevent errors; have trained outage contractors to perform Radiological Control Workers duties; have performed analysis on water samples to insure the plant met the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) requirements; maintained State of Oregon - Waste Water Treatment plant certification for 15 years. I served in the USN Nuclear Power Program as a Nuclear Mechanical Operator/ELT.
