Senior Operations Associate Trade Support Middle Office

I am looking for a career change that will utilize my 10 years of professional experience working in both middle office and back office operations within the financial services industry. From trade support and P&L to settlements and clearing, I have been able to support an array of trading desks while learning how each of the various cash equity and equity derivative businesses function. Having supported multi-million dollar proprietary trading desks I believe I have developed a business acumen that will prove valuable to your firm. I have developed expertise in securities processing, P&L accounting, market and reference data (pricing/valuation, prime brokerage/client/settlement data). My advanced programming skills in Excel have allowed me to build tools for reconciliation, Straight-Through-Processing and process improvements. I am presently attending New York University for a BS in Information Systems Management with a concentration in Web Design & Development, expecting to finish in 2014. From trading systems to reconciliation tools to accounting platforms, now internet-based networks, intranet applications and website data depositories are replacing legacy infrastructures which is giving not only the financial services industry but all companies a means of improving efficiency, reducing costs and increasing information security. I have citizenship from both USA and France, speaking French fluently. I also speak conversational Spanish.
