painting and maintenance

To whom it may concern: I am requesting your assistance in seeking full time employment in which I can use my expertise and experience. I have been a self-employed contractor for twenty years. My company has provided quality painting, construction and maintenance services throughout the Michigan counties. As a business owner, I have had the responsibility of communicating with various clienteles (commercial, industrial and residential) and understanding and interpreting their needs through my work; creating price estimates; organizing and supervising the work with special attention to craftsmanship and deadlines. In addition to the business aspect of managing a company I have physically worked alongside of my employees. I hold a journeyman level in the following positions: painting (spraying, rolling and brushing), rough and finish carpentry, plumbing, roofing, tile work, carpet installation, wallpaper removal and installation as well as drop ceilings and drywall installation and repair. At this point I am ready to make a career transition which will allow me to shed the responsibility of handling the business aspect of running a company and enable me to use my expertise and journeyman skills in providing full-time quality maintenance service to your organization.
