July 26, 2015 Dear Human Resources: I am contacting you regarding my interest in the position of Warehouse Manager. My experience includes 27 years of Warehouse / Distribution Center Management in all operations of material production and processing; staffing, RF, shipping, receiving, SAP, inventory, and logistics for up to two sites simultaneously, over 118 stores, and over 8000 locations. I have successfully managed teams ranging from 6 to 55 employees in high production-monitored environments on all 3 shifts, in both small and large facilities; including a 30-door, 200,000 square foot distribution center. Complementing my experience I have an additional 5 years’ experience supervising various warehouse departments; big ticket, cross-dock, pack n’ hold, ready-to-wear, claims, mail-order, returns, flat lines, and inventory control. Additionally, I am familiar with MSDS / HAZMAT, and OSHA guidelines. I am certified on various modes of motorized equipment. I am CPR certified as well. My system applications experience includes SAP, WMS, JDA, AS400/RPGIV systems, and Microsoft Suite applications. I am currently working on my Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management at Alvernia University. Regarding salary, I am looking for a salary of $70,000.00 annually. However, I am open to negotiations. I am interested in first, second, or third shift. I am available immediately as I was recently laid-off due to downsizing.
