Over time I've: Produced/published product and process novelty "on the bench" at the materials and hardware prototype level; then, shortly after promotion to Bell Labs supervisor, when I was promoted at Bellcore, I had the privilege of being the Telecommunications Industry LEAD Manager with responsibility for all Telephone Office equipment purchased by the U.S. service providers from every worldwide source successfully with impact, for over a decade and a half. Then, when Bellcore waned, I capped off my career with 3 industry management/hands-on assignments in the product assurance arena. At this time, I' m quite confident that I would offer sage, experiential support to so many of today's product/hardware oriented high tech companies. After all, Technology really doesn’t flash change, rather it evolves! The 1 micron feature set of my early era's devices may be reduced beyond a decade, but the science/design and production techniques and the methodology to satisfy yield, successful field performance and hardware reliability never diminish.
