I have more than 15 year experience as an environmental advisor with British Petroleum (BP) and with AkvaMiljo Caspian Ltd (a laboratory services provider) as a marine biologist. I have a proven track record in developing and managing of both offshore and near-shore components of the Environmental Monitoring Program in accordance with business needs, BP’s environmental policy and legal compliance requirements as well as environmental projects particularly with regard to water resource (drinking water, sea, sewage, waste and industrial waters) studies. I possess advanced practical and technical knowledge related to the water toxicological studies and was involved in the Ecotoxicology projects in Azerbaijan, including as Project Director. In my current role as a Senior Environmental Advisor in BP’s Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey Region (AGT R) I am responsible for maintaining of the ISO 14001 certification for offshore platforms; delivering and preparation of internal reports (Monthly reports, Sustainability report, Site repot, Group environmental reporting, Partners environmental reporting, AGT Region Data analyses etc.).
