Import-Export Trade Specialist
I am seeking to transition my specialized academic background in international business and trade into the import/export compliance field and global trade logistics industry. I am currently studying for the October 2013 Licensed Customs Broker exam through the Global Training Center, Inc. and have acquired extensive knowledge of U.S. importing regulations and compliance requirements. I also have experience working in the U.S. Customs Automated Export System (AES)and Automated Broker Interface (ABI) systems through my Licensed Customs Broker studies and training. In addition to my PhD, I am currently enrolled in an International MBA program with a specialty in Supply Chain Management, which I will complete in Fall 2014. In addition, I also have working knowledge of several foreign languages including French, Italian and Russian and I am currently learning Mandarin Chinese.
