I am looking for administrative positions that include field administration with decision making rights, but not while working side by side with the trades. I have great knowledge of best practices and the ability to guide and if necessary control construction activities. My immediate goal is to no longer wear a tool belt and to restrict the tools I use to a computer, level, tape measure, and a theodolite to perform or check layouts. I would not mind occasional operation of a backhoe or bobcat as an exception rather than a rule. Administrative planning of the scheduling, and providing coordination of trades, ordering, accepting, staging and storing of materials and equipment for construction activities while maintaining OSHA safety and a clean site and recognition for a job well done when goals are exceeded will suffice.
