Work as a team player to use computers, telephones e-mail and fax machines to find load and add on shipments for trucks, handle local distribution unloading and setting up distribution routs, sort and repack as necessary to deliver materials, tally materials received and tally for outgoing delivery, scheduling drivers for delivery routs, deliver myself if drivers are unavailable to deliver. Unload and load truck using materials moving equipment as necessary to organize and handle materials. Organize and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments. Determine repairs necessary on vehicles and consult with mechanic on repairs, necessary materials and procedures and whether or not the job should be sublet. Assist mechanics with difficult Organize Organized and locate tires in the warehouse, plan and locate tires in the warehouse, unload incoming tire trucks. Pull tires and load routs as necessary, act as a substitute driver to deliver tires as necessary. Locate and purchase repair parts both by phone and internet for retail customers.
