Over thirty two years’ experience in the Aerospace bearing field. Have worked “hands on” in all aspects of manufacturing inspection including receiving inspection, component inspection, assembly inspection as well as visual inspection. Certified internal auditor to TS 16949/ISO 9001 standards.

SNR Bearings USA, Georgia
Aerospace Division: Chief Inspector of Repair Station, August 2000 ~ present
• Certificated FAA Repairman. Responsible for day to day operations of the repair station inspection area as well as bearing repair. Repairs bearings to OEM standards, Customer specifications and FAA Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR 145, 43, 121, 129 etc). Final authority in the release of the product to service after inspection and repair.
• Responsible for reviewing all external/internal technical data, blueprints, and customer specifications and communicate any changes to related personnel.
• Train and assist subordinates in proper work procedures and practices to be followed and to supervise and direct all personnel assigned to the inspection area. Assures that all repair station personnel are qualified to perform their assigned tasks in accordance with all specifications.
• Responsible for all gage calibration activities.
• Direct contact with customer with bi-weekly updates and correspondence.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment. Communicate regularly with companies in France, Italy, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, China, and Korea.
• Have passed extensive audits by FAA and customers, e.g. C.A.S.E, GE, Snecma, AA, etc.
Automotive Division: Quality Control, August 2006 ~ present
• Support the development of FMEA, control plan, and written inspection procedures.
• Support receiving inspection and serve as an internal auditor for quality audit.
• Core member of TS16949/ISO9001 implementation team to achieve TS16949/ISO9001 certification.
MRC Bearings Remanufacturing Business Unit, Prototype Inspector/ Remanufacturing Inspector, March 1980 ~ August 2000
• Process customer components from receipt through refurbishment.
• Provides support to manufacturing floor via floor checks, which include dimensional and visual inspection, as well as hardness, flatness, and surface finish. Divise methods to obtain measurements of prototype bearings and record all characteristics for final first article inspection to present to customer source inspectors.
• Performed inspection on space shuttle turbo pump prototype bearings as well as bearings that go in the arm of vehicle. Developed inspection methods for the GE90 engine bearings program for Boeing 777.
• Able to work directly with customer representatives in presenting finished bearings for review of conformity for dimensional characteristics and review of all documentation.
