Rsslead Plumber

1 Career objectives, specific career goals and interests to show what opportunities you want to pursue My objective is to obtain a position that allows me to use my varied construction skills in a field that will ultimately lead into the construction management/Maintenance industry or plumbing superintendant. Currently I am a licensed plumber from the state of Oregon where I managed my own plumbing, construction business for 7 years. I also have 4 years experience as an electrician, 10 years as a carpenter, 12 years in concrete forming and finishing, 7 years as an brick mason, 10 years as tile and stone setter. With my architectural training from trade school, I have studied and applied all aspects of the construction trades which makes me an ideal candidate for a construction management position. I am very organized and detail orientated in overseeing many construction trades the past 30 years. I also am a licensed pipe welder and fitter and have several years as a structural welder. 2) Personal and career highlights. Help readers learn more about you. Share unique problems you’ve encountered and how you solved them to bring value to your organization While working at one construction site renovating a warehouse into a 5 story luxury condominium, I was the plumbing foreman over a 12 man plumbing crew who only spoke Spanish. This project was in the rough-in stage of plumbing installation. Several blocks away, the same company I worked for needed a foreman to complete the final stages of plumbing for a 75 unit, 4 story luxury apartment complex. I was called upon to oversee that job as well. Working as foreman for both projects at 2 different stages at the same time proved to be a challenging yet rewarding experience. With my Spanish speaking background and organizational abilities I was able to keep both projects on schedule to completion. This experience taught me that not only do I have the skills needed to be a plumbing foreman but that I truly enjoyed using my abilities in such a capacity. This experience convinced me that I am in the position to ultimately obtain a position as a project superintendent overseeing all trades. 1 Career objectives, specific career goals and interests to show what opportunities you want to pursue My objective is to obtain a position that allows me to use my varied construction skills in a field that will ultimately lead into the construction management/Maintenance industry or plumbing superintendant.
