Improved the product reliability from a product with a MTBF of less than 2000 hours to a product that had an MTBF of over 72,000 hours. – SecureAlert • Was transferred to Utah to recover a failing $53,000,000 business and open a 175,000 square foot manufacturing site. Business was plagued with systemic quality problems and capacity shortfalls. Stabilized business in current footprint through management re-alignment, process refurbishment, and cultural paradigm change. Effectively transition the business out of current site to newly acquired “big box” in West Valley City. -ModusLink • Successfully implemented a 65,000 square foot start-up facility; Equipment installation, Hiring 65 full-time staff, transition of $6.5 million business from Utah to Tennessee, Maintained and improved performance metrics (99.5% on-time shipment, $0.02 cost per component, 99% inventory accuracy). -ModusLink • Implemented a successful “Process Improvement” project in 3 separate factories in North China. Training programs were developed in English and Chinese, and over 600 Chinese employees were trained. Additional auspices programs were developed to support the “Process Improvement” project; Award & Recognition programs, Communication programs, Executive oversight, and training programs. -ModusLink • Successfully negotiated with Major customers to establish “Statements of Work” for 3 factories in North China.
