My career in the Healthcare Industry covers more than 18 years of experience, serving in a variety of different medical positions, to include Medical Office Manager. My primary interest is to apply my skills as a patient care Medical Office Manager. In addition, I possess advanced knowledge of ICD 9 and CPT coding in such specialized fields as Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Invasive Cardiology, Pulmonology, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, and Internal Medicine. I am well versed in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, medical dictionaries, medical abbreviations, texts, and pharmacology. My background in Medical Office Management has allowed me to develop an in-depth understanding of physician practice management, as well as insurance billing and regulations, HCFA documentation requirements and billing procedures, computer operating systems, word processing, electronic email, use of the internet, spreadsheets, HIPPA compliance, and medical office policies and procedures.
