Molecular Genetics - Epigenetics - Association Studies- Infectious and complex diseases - Genetic improveemnt

At this stage of my carrier, I am eager to use all my knowledge and skills to be able to make an impact through technical development of new ideas or the improvement of the existing ones, in order to enhance the use of genetic and genomics information applied to production and/or disease. A key for this would be working in an institution that is committed towards this goal, which has a good infrastructure and multidisciplinary teams that could face today’s challenges for higher efficiency in a competitive worldwide marketplace. I believe that my skills and experience can be a valuable component of multidisciplinary groups, because of my wide ethnical background and my experience living in different cultural environments, which has led me to gain a wider perspective of things and will be useful for team work. I want to be able to work in a new productive environment, where the effort to improve efficiency and productivity is compensated both economically and by the satisfaction of a job well done.
