Ultrasound Tech. San Bernardino CA

I have one year experience in Ultrasound. I have a certificate as well as professional references and three 4.0 honor roll certificates with my ultrasound training school. I have scanned in general ultrasound including but not limited to, Breast, Thyroid, Vascular, Abdomen, Pelvic, OB/GYN, Prostate, and closely observed echocardiography as well. I also have three years experience in clerical office work and customer service. I have skills in making my patients comfortable and relaxed during their scan process. I was top of my class at my college and at my externship site I eventually became lead tech. I have my CPR/first aid certification and it is currently active. I have a High School Diploma and I am currently seeking to furthur my education with an Associates Degree in Science. I can perform basic functions of a great tech. I can sanitize and clean machines, and prep patients for their exams. I can take basic information and keep it private on confidential between myself, the patient and the attending doctor. I can instruct patients of their responsibilities to have an accurate scan test done. I can read medical terminology, and apply those skills when necessary. I know how to read ultrasound test results as well as recognise most pathologies. I am organized, outgoing, energetic, and a fast learner. I am professional and assertive in my work environment and take my career and work very seriously. I am able to read and understand department policies.
