Structural engineer to permor dynamic impact analysis using LS-DYNA

I am currently a structural engineer. My professional objective is to seek an engineer/scientist position to apply my professional skills to make contributions to the employer’s goals. My credentials include: • Five years' working experience in dynamic impact analysis, seismic analysis using LS-DYNA, ANSYS and ABAQUS. For example, car impact analysis, bird strke analysis, impact analysis for nuclear fuel, basket and fuel storage system. • Ph. D in mechanical engineering provided me good experience both computationally and experimentally related to structural/thermal analyses. • Six years’ working experienceas as a post doctoral research associate at universities developed me a good problem-solving skills and excellent computational skills (e.g., finite element analysis) to analyze a variety of practice problems, such as static/dynamics, structural/thermal; fatigue and fracture; and better understanding of micromechanics and microstructure-performance relationship of various material systems, such as advanced composites, welded layered material, metal alloy materials. • Master degree in applied math & scientific computing provided me better mathematical understanding of scientific computing, finite element analysis, numerical analysis and hand-on programming experience for the code development (e.g., Fortran, Matlab, C). • Years’ working experience since 1996 provided me strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent hands-on experience with several commercial finite element codes (e.g., ABAQUS, ANSYS, LS-DYNA) and excellent programming skills in code development, such as user-defined cohesive zone element used in ABAQUS. • Publishing many technical articles in journals, presenting work in international conference and studying and working in the US since 1998 provided me excellent writing skills and communication skills.
