Description
Love the hotel business. Understand how to make money for every size and type of product. Have spent my career involved with multiple hotel products, types of markets across the US. Regions vary in their decision process and I understand this as well as timelines involved. Knowledgeable and worked with all major brands, Hilton, Marriott, Starwood, Holiday Inn/Intercontinental. Excel at turnarounds, new acquisitions, brand changes. Have worked every position in this industry. Understand the functions and profit/loss capability of every operating department. Lived and traveled extensively during my career. Currently seeking a Corporate or Regional position to lead, train and develop a profitable sales and marketing direction for a company. Excel at the training and development of others. Adaptable, with very "hands on" training and practical day to day application to accomplish results. No two hotels are alike. There are no "cookie cutter" sales mentalities that really can be applied for long term results. I understand how to put the foundation, company standards, process & reporting in place while providing the hotels the ability to individualize their approach. This allows the most success in each respective market. A revenue "visionary" - how to achieve rate while maintaining volume is an art form. Evening out the "high and lows" of the occupancy roller coaster.... understand how to build that consistency to eliminate the loss of revenue. Proven track record.
