Time management and exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail. I have a worked in numerous trades and possess multiple skills which mirror my diverse working experiences. I was first employed by the Wells Fargo Guard Services of Florida from 1981 to 1983. I began working with the Wells Fargo company as a security officer and six months later I was promoted the assistant Branch Manager. I left the Wells Fargo company after the Fort Lauderdale and Miami offices merged during company restructuring and cost-cutting efforts. Soon thereafter I managed two family-owned businesses for a period of 2 years. One business was a Gas Station and the other was a fast food restaurant (The Miami Golden Nugget). After those businesses were sold in 1985 I briefly worked for the American Roll-up Door Company. During this time I was also continuing my education by attending a vocational school Garces Commercial College. At Garces I studied and was then certified as an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration technician. After graduation I started my own small Air Conditioning / Refrigeration and handy-man business. In the course of regular business I installed fences poured and repaired concrete driveways completed numerous masonry tasks painted houses & small buildings installed & repaired lawn sprinkler systems repaired and/or replaced doors windows installed floor tiles installed exterior lighting and remodeled kitchens and bathrooms. I am also proficient in plumbing drywall and carpentry and wall papering. In 2000 I closed the business and started a new family venture as a co-worker/owner of auto salvage yard. This business venture lasted 14 months before the business sold.
