Squadron Avionics Manager- 6 years experience- US Marine Corps
I'm currently seeking a position as an aircraft electrician. I’ll be completing over 25 years of Avionics experience on the CH-53 D/E aircraft with the U. S. Marine Corps on 30 September 2010. I wish to continue serving this great nation through your company by helping to maintain Marine Corps Aviation Assets at their highest Material Condition/Mission Readiness levels. I have served as the Avionics manager at HMH-465, 361 at MCAS Miramar, HMM-265, in Okinawa, Japan and HMLA-369 at Camp Pendleton. As an Avionics Manager, I possess a detailed, working knowledge of all Navy-sponsored aviation maintenance programs and processes governed by COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790 (series) and local command procedures. I had to organized avionics facilities to efficiently support the maintenance and repair of avionics systems, and equipment safely at the squadron level. I had to be highly effective in the scheduling of military and technical training for 55-110 technicians. Meticulously maintained appropriate records of all maintenance and inspection actions performed, technical training conducted, and organic equipment assigned to the avionics department. I have also successfully managed the Quality Assurance Department of a squadron (HMM-163 (Rein)) that consisted of 5 different types of aircraft. I developed 15 Quality Assurance Representatives from diverse Maintenance backgrounds into an efficient and smooth running team which resulted with an overall aircraft readiness level above 85%, and improved aircraft material condition. I have also served with the Quality Assurance department in the capacity of an Avionics Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI), Collateral Duty QAR (CDQAR) and Quality Assurance Representative (QAR).
