Enclosed is a summary of qualifications I respectfully submit for your review. In addition to the background listed below, I carry a current US Govt. Top Secret Clearance and conduct investigations for numerous government agencies: DOD, ICE, CBP, and GAO. I also have gained extensive management experience in a wide range of challenging and demanding situations. I was inserted as a senior manager to operate various businesses to identify and address serious problems. During these assignments it was imperative that I successfully performed all the duties of a manager. These assignments lasted anywhere from several weeks to years. I am certified by the Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy as both a police officer and a law enforcement instructor, along with the State of Tennessee Post (Peace Office Standards of Training). In addition I have spent more than two decades as a Senior Police Academy Instructor. I have also been tasked with recruiting, training and managing several special investigative units for both law enforcement agencies and the private sector. My law enforcement career has spanned over thirty years, from a Patrol Officer to a Senior Investigator; from a street level undercover agent to a participant in a multi-national task force. Assignments have taken me to various locations around the country, with positions ranging from Chief of Investigations on a fifty plus person department, to the creation, implementation and supervision of Detective Bureaus and Undercover Units on several Police Departments. I believe my unique experience on both sides of the Mason Dixon line would be a tremendous asset to any agency. I am seeking a position that would be both challenging and afford me the opportunity to take advantage of my experience and training. I feel my experience in police administration, undercover operations, personnel; budget, community relations and officer training would be beneficial to any organization.
