Automotive Technician Diagnose and repair import and domestic cars, light trucks and vans. Interacted with customers, resourced parts from manufacturers/suppliers and provided repair estimates. Areas of expertise included: transmissions, clutches, brakes, radiators and engine rebuilding. Repaired window motors and regulators, tested electrical connections and maintained all aspects of customer vehicles, ie: windshield wiper motors and switches, horns and relays, headlight and tail light assemblies, drive shaft universal joints, ball joints and all front end suspension repairs, timing chains, head gaskets and valve jobs, mounting and balancing tires, wheel alignments, axles repairs and exhaust work. Air conditioning repairs and recharging (IMACA certified), alternators, starters, water pumps and power steering assemblies. Oil/filter changes, air filters, hoses and wiper blades and drive belts were routine maintenance. Arc welding and oxy-acetylene torch experience. OBD state inspector. ASE certified.
