I have intensive experience in cell/molecular biology, proteomics, microbiology, studying enzymes' specific activity, biochemistry. I have worked for University of Toronto for the last four years. I was involved in projects with focus on industrial enzymes, particularly on novel Microbial Hydrolases and Laccases discovery . In my most recent employment at the Centre for structural and functional proteomics lead by Dr. Aled Edwards (BBMRI, University of Toronto) I have perfected the following methodologies: high-throughput cloning (all steps from primer design to clone generation), site-direct mutagenesis, transgenic expression, high-throughput recombinant proteins’ purification, protein activity screening, general and specific enzymatic assays, protein X-ray crystallization etc. My responsibilities included also contributing to publications. I am very enthusiastic about my work, learning new advancements and approaches related to biological sciences and about the prospect of working in a challenging, cutting-edge environment that of opportunity for professional growth and increasing responsibilities.
