Distribution Manager with over 17 years experience

I have over seventeen years’ experience as a Distribution Manager, with major corporations, including Wal-Mart Stores Inc. My skill sets include a strong technical knowledge of several warehouse operations’ computer systems and software packages, competent in RFID, WMS, and TMS, cross-dock, proficient in word processing, databases, spreadsheets and several more. Throughout my career I have successfully operated areas on both the inbound and outbound sides of a warehouse of over one million square feet. As a leader and warehouse manager for Wal-Mart Inc, I adapted and developed in a fast pace environment were my quick decision making skills played a major role in the success of the distribution center. I have earned a reputation to continuously exceed expectations. As a manager with Mclane Company I strived to make the organization more competitive, enhancing both customer satisfaction and loyalty. On a daily basis I strived to initiate and respond to requests for action on various issues with several hundred store customers. In addition to my customer relationship management I guided warehouse supervisors towards attaining established goals. As the Distribution Manager for Shearer's Foods in Lubbock, Texas, I was responsible for the distribution of product to the southwest and western United States. In this capacity I was responsible for maintaining operational/financial duties along with maintaining an operating income of over $100 million a year for the Texas location. During my time with Shearer's Foods I also completed the implementation of the Red Prairie warehouse management system and ensured a successful start-up with WMS and TMS.
