Building Inspector / Official

I am experienced in a variety of skills with over thirty years in the Building Industry. I am seeking employment In Building Inspections, Commercial or Residential I also have over 18 years in Building Codes Enforcement as a Building Inspector. Nine years Experience as a First Line Department Head Supervisor as a Building and Zoning Official for a City Government. I have additional training and experience as an Inspector/Investigator for the South Carolina State Building Commission. I am Licensed by the South Carolina Department of Labor , License and Regulations as a Residential Builder and Licensed by the S.C. building Codes Council as a Contract Combination Commercial and Residential Building Inspector. I am certified by the National Preservation Institute (NPI) in Historical Building Surveys and in Historic Building Maintenance . I am active in local community Historic Preservation efforts and serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Florence County, S.C. Historic Commission as appointed by the Governor of South Carolina in 1986. I also serve on the Board of Directors of two other Non-profit Historical Preservation Groups. In 2005 I received the Governors Award from the South Carolina Historic Preservation Office and the Palmetto Truss for the Historic Preservation of a National Register Home located in Darlington, S.C.
