While my background is primarily in tooling and engineering, I bring to the table a unique set of focused and strategic skills which I have successfully transferred and applied to multiple disciplines. - Project Management; my best work may be in the critical transition mode between design and manufacturing functions; an area sometimes given the least importance but one with the greatest potential for payback done with careful planning and coordination. Throughout my career, I have consistently completed these complex projects on time, under cost and without error. - New Product Integrations; creating optimal design for manufacturability that meets if not surpasses both customer and manufacturing process requirements and developing/executing transition planning and implementation. - Engineering; providing support to the shop floor with continuous improvement activities eliminating waste with hands-on problem solving at the source. - Tooling Engineering, Building, Repair and Replacement Programs - Supervision and Management; both tech level and production personnel. Additionally, as a manager, I have a reputation as an “Agent of Change” and for instilling both trust and loyalty while galvanizing individual performers into effective and energized teams. - Sales, Customer Management and Development; interfacing with existing customers and product engineers in addition to developing new customers. When my previous position was eliminated, I hit the ground running! I worked for my previous employer on a contract basis and began a consulting, engineering and sales enterprise. I have performed both project and contract work in every aspect of the die casting industry incorporating both domestic and off-shore suppliers and vendors.
