Operations Manager/Consultant
Management and Customer Service has been my background and passion. I have just finished a temporary assignment in New York as a consultant to a hospital and parking services company for the hospital's valet and costomer services operation. This was a very satisfying position because it required me to rely on my many years of experience as a manager in the customer service industry to build positive client relations, evaluating the operation and recommending effective, efficient and positive practices.

Sodexo Health Care
Manager
- My main responsibilities were to evaluate the valet services, shuttle services, lobby greeters and garage management of New York Hospital Queens for the transition of services from the the hospital's current contracted company to Sodexo’s First Impressions, and to act as consultant to the hospital. I targeted problem areas of the operations and made recommendations for change to First Impressions and hospital administration. I also served as assistant to the hospital’s Director of Materials Management who oversaw the parking operations for the hospital. I reported to the Senior Director of First Impressions keeping him informed as to the problems the current company was having with the operation. I meet regularly with the General Manager for Sodexo’s food and nutrition services at the hospital, and Sedexo’s District Manager of Health Care Services.
I was on a 10-day rotation schedule, working 10 days straight in Queens and then taking 4 days off to return to Milwaukee. This schedule continued my entire time of employment which was a temporary assignment that originally was to last 60 - 90 days.
Once First Impressions assumed the daily operations of the garage, shuttles and valet services, I stayed on for several weeks using my in depth knowledge of the operations and staff, along with the positive relationships I had built with hospital directors and administrators to ensure a smooth transition.
