I have worked a couple of jobs. After 2 years of loyal service I seem to notice one thing. My boss cares more about the work than the employee themself. I'm simply looking for a job that i can stay at and turn into my "Career." If i don't recieve my yearly raise wether it's $0.20-$0.50 or even $1, I'm not going to be able to say that I love my job. If there is alot of manual labor involved in a job, I would expect a good pay rate. Right now i work for a nursing home. I've been there for 2 years now and i still dont make enough money to simply support myself. I don't mind having a strict boss. I don't mind having very controlling co-workers. I'm simply trying to move on with my life and to do that I need a reasonable income. I really do enjoy helping people. I love how it feels when a customer/resident etc. is happy with my services. How cool of a job would that be? TO be able to help people and get paid for it? I would love that kind of work. I can be very quiet at times because i get into a bit of a zone. I take my job very seriously and proffessionally. I guess the main thing I am looking for in a job is fair treatment between the employee and customer.
