My name is Terry Dunn. I am seeking a Purchasing position in a progressive environment, which offers opportunity for professional growth and more importantly, stability. I know that I would be an asset to any organization with solid office and communication skills that I would utilize in any comparable position. Due to my education, training, strong computer skills, CPM registration and some APICS coursework I consider myself strong in the Purchasing/Procurement field where I have ten years experience. These skills would include an ability to work autonomously on a variety of projects, MRP/ERP/RPQ systems understanding and the commitment to devote myself as a team player. Being in the Purchasing field I am in charge of most clerical function that happen in an office setting including; SOP creation, contract negotiation, day-to-day support of a particular customer’s accounts, serve as the primary point of contact between the customer and the company, quote and bid request, tracking and updating order status. Also, calculating pricing along with shipping charges and estimated time of arrival, processing invoices and connecting with purchasing information to assist in billing, courier shipping/warehouse stocking distribution and transferring between locations. Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of environments, from importing foreign goods from China, Vietnam, and Mexico to sourcing, financial planning and forecasting medical supplies. I am diligent and maintain a positive attitude while interacting with co-workers and various members of the internal and external community. Other areas include Sales Support, Reception, Customer Service, Warehouse Shipping/Receiving, Administrative, AP/AR, Payroll, Cost analysis and Human Resources assistance.
