Childcare provider, psychology student, future social worker or counselor for the youth
Hello, My name is Jessica Maxwell and I am currently self-employed as a childcare provider in my home. I work with children that are birth to twelve years old and have been doing so for the last five years. I also have experience with special needs children including quadriplegic and ADD children. I truly believe that giving and receiving a child’s love heals the soul, and because of that I love my job. Now that my own children are in school, I am ready to get out of the house, and expand on my career. In the future I would see myself working with the youth as a counselor or social worker. I am an online student with the University of Phoenix, and will receive an AA in Psychology in spring of 2010. Upon getting my degree I will close the daycare doors and start out "somewhere" (that is where you come in) while furthering my education in psychology.
