Results-focused, creative, and dedicated professional with superb organizational and communication skills combined with a record for maximizing customer service. * Twenty years of hands-on hospitality management experience, primarily in conference and event management. * Convention Services Manager at a full service convention hotel, the main liaison between the clients and all hotel departments. My responsibility is to detail events in 45,000 square feet of event space including menu selection, floor plans and schedules. * I worked for five years as Operations Manager with an international non-profit organization taking care of logistics for several high-end events and conferences each year. Guests included heads-of-state and other world leaders. I also managed operations for the headquarters facilities including maintenance, floor plans, reception, hospitality and purchasing. * I have worked in hotel management and in management and sales for one of Manhattan's premier event facilities. * Primarily I have done event management from the facility side but have also been an event planner (the client side) giving me valuable perspective.
