I was captain of the track, cross country, and basketball teams in which I received letters and metals. I was Vice-President of the local F.F.A. chapter and received a Kentucky State Farmer Degree. I won a partial scholarship to college. I only attended one semester with a g.p.a. of 3.7 but had to return home to run the family farm until my mother sold it due to my father died of cancer. In the 2nd quarter of 1995 I received the company truck driver of the quarter from the company I drove. They had over one thousand drivers at the time.
