Worked in an enviornment that required con- stant observation of vigilance. Required tremendous skills in observation of Inmate/Patients, listening closely to their medical problems, correlating these with my clinical evalua- tion, accurately diagnosing and communicating my Nursing diagnosis with the appropriate medical specialist and the Correctional Officers. Used skills of obvservation to quickly determine a potentially violent Inmate, keep calm and com municate effectively with Correctional Officers. July 2004- RN August 2006 Heritage Oaks Psychiatric Hospital Sacramento, CA Charge RN responsibilities for severly mentally ill adolescents and adults. Coordinated treatment of these Patients with MD's, Social Workers and other healthcare professionals. Provided mentoring and training for Medical and Nursing students. Wrote extensive Care Plans and instructed Medical Assistants, Psychiatric Technicians and LVN's how to implement these Plans of Care.
