Recently I graduated from Anoka Technical College where I
received my diploma in the Medical Coding Specialist Program.
In addition to seeking an entry-level medical coder position,
I am also pursuing employment in the Health Information or
Clerical Department of a clinic, hospital, or care facility, as
well as other opportunities in which I can use my experience and
training to be of assistance to a medical facility. I have two
years of experience as a medical receptionist, and before
pursuing my medical coding diploma I had been employed for eight
years in the Medical Records field, until being laid-off in
December of 2006.
