I have a strong residential mortgage underwriting background in conventional mortgage loans. My last position prior to my current was a credit exception manager. My duties were to keep on top of mortgage loan products, and if do-able, to give an "exception" to the mortgage guidelines. I am fully aware of the market we are in at present, and I know that there are no longer such positions out there as this. I am seeking a mortgage underwriting position, and I would qualify at a senior level position. I am now employed in a different type of position in a bank, which is in the mortgage servicing department. Although I am always fully up to a challenge, this position just does not seem "rewarding" enough. I would like to get back into the "up front" departments in residential mortgages.
