Certified Nurses aid / Home Health Nurse 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE

Highlights:	I was in the Army Reserves for 6 years and they put me through school to be an LVN and I am very proud of that. When I had my son I took some time out to be a stay at home mom by obtaining a Residential Property Management job and I am proud of that too because I also learned how to do plumbing, painting, and other maintence work. During this time, I obtained a Real Estate license also and worked part time for Century 21 First Choice where I sold a home. I'm proud of that. It took up more than part time hours however. I still hold my position as Residential Property Manager/Maintenance person for Winona Towers 31 unit Apartment complex where I am able to continue raising my son who is now going on 16 years old. I am very proud of him. Three years ago I thought I could refresh my nursing license only to find out that I let too many years go by and so I had to start over. I obtained a CNA/HHA certificate from Grossmont Health Occupations in 2006. At that time my Dad needed help to stay at home and I have been taking care of him for the past 2 years. Today,I have more free time to continue my career in the Health Care Field because we have found permenant companionship for my Dad. I have 4 years experience as an LVN where I did Home Care also but that was in the 90's. And so I am proud of my life as a Mom, Home Maker, Propery Manager, Maintenance person, and Caregiver. They are not easy jobs. When I was a teen ager I was in a Rock Band and could play the drums better than any boy. I was proud of that. Now that my son is a teenager, (and is also musically talented by the way), I can focus more on getting back into the main stream. As far as awards, I don't recall any except from a class I attended at Grossmont College while earning an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. It was a silly award was for being patient and mild mannered.
