I have over 20 year’s Information Technology management experience in manufacturing, warehouse, distribution and retail environments. Manufacturing includes pharmaceutical, medical devices, consumer goods, automotive and textile industries. I have planned, organized and directed all activities of the Information Technology department; Help Desk - 24/7/365, Network Infrastructures - NT to 2X, Application Development and Outside Consultants for various size companies (many with multiple locations). I have been successful in my career researching, evaluating, negotiating, implementing, managing, supporting and maintaining several types of ERP application software (Mapics/Infor) and third party bolt on packages. I have advanced knowledge and experience working with the IBM AS400/iSeries midrange mainframe, System 3X legacy systems and programming with RPG and CL. Areas of experience include new installations, conversions, migrations, integrations, operating system upgrades and high availability. Network experience consists of infrastructure builds from startup, upgrades and migrations, network integrations, Microsoft NT, XP, 2X, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, Novell Netware, VMWare, LAN/WAN, encryption/decryption, antivirus, VPN, and MS SQL. I have authored several disaster recovery plans, strategic planning and policy development, managed and prepared budgets, vendor management, project management and contract negotiations.
