I went to school at The Cottonwood School for Massage Therapy, (sadly the school was closed a few years ago although I do know where to find the owner).  I graduated in December of 1998 with a 4.0 average both in the academics of the course and practical hand skills. I have a home practice which I have maintained since I graduated massage school in 1998 with many clients who have been with me 5 or more years. I became a massage therapist after my 12 year old son died.  For a year after I wasn't able to work or even function very well.  After the first year when I felt I could work again the idea of massage took hold of me and grew in me until it was all I could think about.  On a very deep level I knew that learning , giving and receiving massage would help me to heal and I was right.  In a very true sense I believe massage chose me which is why I believe I still enjoy my work so much.
