CollapseResponsibilities

I worked in the Customer Service Department. Molecular Probes is a company which develops and sells fluorescent reagents and dyes for use in biomedical research by scientists and many Universities. Job tasks included processing customer orders over the phone, from faxes, mail and email. I came up with the idea and was in charge of converting our Customer’s special instructions or requests (which were originally in Word documents and bound in a big manual for each Rep.) into our ordering system using a web based program called DreamWeaver. These instructions were then just a click away on our ordering screen, and we tossed out our manuals. This greatly improved our hold times, therefore increasing productivity for the whole department. I was then in charge of revising existing requests and documenting any new instructions as needed in DreamWeaver.
