RssSocial Policy Analyst

In thirty years of educational service, I have taught at all levels from eighth grade through graduate seminars. I have developed and delivered courses in subjects ranging from the history of Western philosophy to quantitative reasoning, from the comparative study of religions to Native American literature, from French language and culture to the historical, social, and philosophical foundationa of education. My current teaching assignments, all at the high school level, include AP English Language and Composition and Freshman English. I've collaborated on the self-evaluation studies of a major college of education and served on accreditation committees at the university and secondary school levels. I have taught and chaired departments in inner-city public high schools, in an Eskimo village school off the road north of the Arctic Circle, and in a suburban independent country day school. My nine year old daughter keeps me feeling young, and I plan to work full-time for the next fifteen years, at least.
