CollapseDescription

Being a department manager was my job, working with the customers is my pleasure. Knowing that you gave the customer that one of a kind experience, met and exceeded their expectations, recieved a smile and thank you in return. To know that the customer wll be back, because you made it happen. As the buyer, I had to search for the the best of the best. I found five foot roses, the largest hydrangae plants you ever saw, a Belgian line of chocolate that is absolutely to die for, the sleekest crystal, and was constantly on the lookout for anything other than that old traditional basket, which made our custom gift baskets definitely stand out from the rest.

CollapseResponsibilities

As the gift basket manager, I had the opportunity to work one on one with the customers, which created many major accounts for the company. As the floral manager, I did the purchasing and merchandising for the department. The floral department was in the front of the store, the first impression the customer gets. So it was imperative that I had fun, bright, unusual, fresh and eye catching displays.
