I was responsible for the supervision of seventy-five employees in the forwarding of all classes of mail to our customers that have relocated to local and non-local areas of the United States as well as abroad. It was my responsibility to oversee the proper handling of all inquires about the forwarding of our customer’s mail. This is done primarily over the phone and by written correspondence by the clerks I supervised and me. In addition I was responsible for the procurement of all supplies needed for the operational needs of our unit, overseeing window services and the box section. I was also responsible for creating timely reports to upper management, time and attendance, quality control and training of in house as well as field personnel in some one hundred and fifty plus associate offices within the Atlanta District.
In my position as a Wage & Salary Analyst, I was responsible for time and attendance for 1250+ employees and the proper designation of job functions to be associated with the proper budget for detailed work assignments for over twenty-five work locations.
