Service is my passion in life. I thrive on helping those who cannot (at least for the moment) help themselves. I give selflessly to those who need guidance and support through difficult times, and aid them in swimming through uncharted waters. I am determined and goal-oriented and strive to move up in the service field to help aid the needs of others in a more efficient manner. I love my work.

Representing WV at the National Victims of Crime Conference in Washington, DC in June 2007, being selected to do a televised interview during domestic violence awareness month to speak out on the severity of domestic violence and the resources my company has to offer

I work one-on-one with domestic violence survivors to guide them through modeled behavior and positive outlooks to a life of empowerment and self-fulfillment. Also handling all calls that come through the 24-hour crisis line has shown me the varied degree of domestic violence, and helped me to understand why sometimes a victim just isn't ready to leave yet. I have also learned, though, how to aid the victim in being more safe and taking the steps to prepare for a smoother transition when it is time to leave.
