I have been a nurse for 18 years. I worked in hospitals and LTC for several years then adolescent psyc for seven years. Travel nursing became my new love and I have been traveling since 2001. I now do M/S, psych, dialysis, LTC, Multiple types of clinics (worked in all types for IHS facilities). Currently,I am looking for something close to home, (travel or perm.position).

I spent about nine months at Youkon-Kuskoquim health- care in Bethel,Alaska. I worked in a very busy urgent care clinic, kept extending my contract and was aked to be the charge nurse and keep things running until they could hire someone else.
Another interesting travel assignment i encountered was in Kotzebue, Alaska, at the senior center assisted living. There were many state violations and the doors were about to be shut. I managed to stay put until all violations were corrected. I became very aquainted with the state inspectors. I have great ref. letters from both facilities upon request.
