Responsible for return paper path subsystem design and drawings that define vendor, model shop or in-house supplied parts and assemblies. Designed fixtures to aid manufacturing and quick prototype model shop activity. Designed fixtures for part and or sub-assembly manufacturing and quality control. Created 3-D / solid model files for stereo lithographiy rapid prototype parts. Support for all phases of model builds. Also responsible for plastic and sheet metal parts, subsystem frames , covers , and main frame mounting points / design which made up the paper path transports and inverters with a specialization in clean-sheet designs.

Responsible for 300 plus parts and/or assemblies writing purchase orders to ensure manufacturing line continuity of supply and configuration control of the I - GEN III project Paper Path subsystems. Trained in Just-in-Time ordering practices to achieve stock / line / inventory balances. Maintain bill of materials to reflect latest design changes and cut-ins as required. Write change orders and model shop re-works for stock parts that were able to be changed to new design when this would be time and cost effective.
