Lead creative staff; oversee vendors, photographers, printers and freelancers; working with marketing associates to ensure clients’ needs are met; ensuring a project is on schedule; leading brainstorming sessions; meeting with team members; conceptualizing ideas; and assigning projects to staff. Ensure the quality of each project is completed on time and within budget. Design and produce print, video, and electronic materials in support of LOMA’s Marketing and Education Divisions as well as for Resource and MarketFacts magazine. Formulate basic layout design or presentation approach, and specify material details, such as style and size of type, photographs, graphics, and video. Coordinate day-to-day work assignments for Graphic Designer I & II, distributing and balancing assignments to team members according to resources available and priorities as set by the AVP, Marketing & Graphic Design,acting as the manager for the unit, when AVP Marketing is not available. Confer with AVP, Marketing & Graphic Design, designers, Marketing Associates, or production department heads to discuss client requirements and presentation concepts, and to coordinate creative activities.
