Facilities Director, I have held various management positions within this contract management services company. The titles I have held extend from Operations Manager, Technical and Support Engineer, to Director. These positions were single service, multiple services and multiple sites. Responsibilities included the management of Plant Operations and Maintenance, Construction Project Management, Housekeeping/Custodial, Security, Laundry, Safety Management, Energy Management and Grounds. Formulating, managing and implementing multi-million dollar budgets. Managing point of service staff, supervisory and management personnel. Negotiating and managing service contracts, construction projects and energy futures. I have been recognized several times for my outstanding financial management, quality management and people development accomplishments, in addition to being nominated as top manager in the business unit.I am currently assigned as Asst. Building & Grounds Director at an education district consisting of two high schools. I am directly responsible for the larger older high school, administration center and numerous off site properties. Previously, I was assigned as Facilities Director at a 750,000 sq. ft. educational institution. I was brought in to manage change. This facility was beginning a $98 million construction program. The construction and renovation project finished on time and on budget. There were no lost school days throughout the project. In addition to my facilities responsibilities, I was the key contact with construction and vendors. Previous to this assignment, I was acting as the support engineer for new accounts. I had direct responsibility for the start- up of two major educational accounts.Before moving into the education market, I held a Director�s position at a large hospital. This position was responsible for multiple sites. In addition to my duties as Director, I was the EOC Manager for the hospital. I personally re-engineered their EOC program to meet the new standards.
